This is the entry fee for any adult climber. Unlimited climbing for the day purchased during our opening hours.

17 year olds must be signed in by a parent or guardian on their first visit. Thereafter they can climb unattended if they are responsible, experienced climbers.

Any child 16 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult*

For every 2 children aged 16 years old and under climbing/bouldering there must be one accompanying adult.

*in certain circumstances where an experienced climber aged 16 or under is signed off by a parent/guardian and by one of our staff, then they may climb unattended. Please speak to a member of staff regarding this.

For any child aged 4 – 6. Must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. ONLY 2 CHILDREN PER ADULT.

For any child under 4. Must be accompanied and supervised by a full paying adult, or £6. ONLY 2 CHILDREN PER ADULT.

This course will cover:
The skills needed to climb the walls where ropes are required for your safety.
Correctly fitting a harness, tying into the rope and controlling the safety rope (belaying) for the climber.
This course runs over two weeks.
Once you have completed the course and our instructor is happy with your level of ability, you are more than welcome to stay and keep climbing. In fact we positively encourage it as it will help ingrain what we’ve just taught you and boost your confidence.
Includes lifetime membership and free equipment hire for your first month. Climb 4 times during your first month for a free gift!
NB. These rope skills are for the top rope (green) walls only. For lead climbing (purple wall) you will need to complete the 3 week Learn to Lead course in addition to this one

  • Learn all the necessary skills to start leading
  • Experience: Proficient top rope climber

This course will cover:
The skills needed to climb the lead wall (purple walls).
The art of correctly belaying for a lead climber.
When and how to clip to keep yourself safe.
The course is run over 3 weekly 1½ hour sessions.
Once you’ve completed the course you will be able to confidently lead up the purple wall, giving you access to many more routes!
NB. We insist that you are confident climbing and belaying on the top ropes.
